ABOUT ME:

I grew up in Southwest Virginia and Graduated from Virginia Tech in 1987. After my time at VT, I began chasing a career in the Pharmaceutical industry. I married the love of my life in June of 1990. We have been blessed with two wonderful daughters and a new granddaughter (2022)

In May of 1997 my world turned upside down. I was traveling with my entire family on interstate 85 in North Carolina when a car crossed the median and hit me head on. The couple that hit us were both killed. They were only 30 and 35 years old. My mother-in-law was also killed and my 4 year old daughter was severely injured along with my wife and father-in-law. Thankfully they survived their injuries, but my life had changed forever. There was something missing. I met with my State Farm Agent and he opened my eyes to what a State Farm career could look like. I began my career as a State Farm Life insurance Agent in 1999 and in October of 2000 became a full time State Farm Agent. I am now in position to make a difference in the lives of other families. I have a passion for protecting families from the unexpected. I have personally experienced how life can change in an instant. No one expects to be involved in a fatal car crash. No one expects to die and leave their family without the means to survive. I have been there. I promised that I will NOT let that happened to anyone else without them being prepared!
